ReefMind is an indie reef aquarium companion app built for hobbyists. It provides AI-assisted guidance, species information, and tank management tools.
The app is provided "as is", for informational and hobbyist purposes only. It is not a professional aquarium consultancy service.
The AI assistant in ReefMind is powered by Anthropic's Claude and is intended to help you think through aquarium decisions — not to replace expert judgment.
AI responses may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always cross-reference advice with reputable aquarium resources and, when in doubt, consult an experienced reefer or your local fish store.
You use AI-generated advice at your own risk. ReefMind accepts no liability for livestock losses, equipment failures, or any other outcome resulting from following app guidance.
Account creation and authentication is handled via Supabase. By signing up you agree to provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials secure.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that are used abusively or in violation of these terms.
Tank configurations, livestock lists, equipment records, and other content you create in ReefMind belong to you. We don't claim ownership of your data.
You can request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
ReefMind offers optional paid subscription plans (Pro and Power) that unlock additional features and higher usage limits.
Payment & Renewal: On iOS, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
Managing & Cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
On the web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You can manage web subscriptions from the Settings page in the app.
Species images in ReefMind are sourced from open-license repositories:
Attribution is provided per image where available. If you believe an image has been incorrectly attributed, please contact us.
Species care data (tank parameters, compatibility, difficulty ratings, etc.) is compiled from publicly available hobbyist and scientific sources.
We make no warranty that this data is complete, current, or accurate for your specific setup. Reef keeping is complex and conditions vary — treat all data as a starting point, not gospel.
ReefMind is primarily built with Singapore reef keepers in mind, but is available to anyone globally. Some features or species data may be more relevant to certain regions.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of ReefMind after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
